Q. Will we be given a written quotation?


A. We make sure that we provide a written quote and timescale that is realistic for your project.

 

Q. How long is my drive or patio guaranteed for?


A. We honour a 15 year installation guarantee for any drive or patio that has been layed on a concrete sub-base.

 

Q. Are you insured?


A. We have public liability insurance to a value of £2,000,000

 

Q. Are there any completed jobs that we can see?


A. As long as we contact a previous customer first, there is normally no problem in arranging for you to see work in your area.

 

Q. How much does it all cost?


A. Every job is unique, the easiest and quickest way to determine the cost of any job is to estimate it for you.

 

Q. Do you offer a maintenance service?


A. Yes , we can negotiate a service that incorporates your needs. Annual or Bi annual cleaning and resanding can be carried out for you. We also offer a resin sealing and coating service to reduce weeds and moss growth in sand joints and prolong the colour and life of your blockpaving.

 

Q. How do we pay you?


A. Bankers Draft or Cash are the methods of payment we ask for. We are currently putting in place the facility to pay by credit card.
Depending on the value of the works to be undertaken, we may ask for ‘stage payments’ at pre-agreed points.

 

Q. Do I need planing permission ?


A. From October 1st 2008 a submission for Planning Permission will be required for Impermeable Surfaces, like Pattern Imprinted Concrete. The Purpose of this requirement is to prevent the Stormwater Drain Sysytem in the road and eventually the rivers from being unnecessarily over filled in periods of heavy rainfall. However : These requirements only apply to the area between the front of the house and the road. OUR PART – Our job is to try and satisfy the requirements of our customers and the local council. We can do this with Soakaways and draining to the garden. On particularly poor drainage properties we are permitted to make use of the Storm Drains. CONCLUSION – Providing we make our best effort to drain Driveway Accumulated Rainwater into the SUB soils below, WE WILL NOT NEED PLANNING PERMISSION Our Site Surveyor will look at all options in order that all requirements are met. On rare occasions there may be no option but to apply for Planning Permission. We will apply for permission which cost £250.00 and takes about 8 week to complete.

 

Q. How quickly can work commence?


A. Generally within two weeks of accepting our quotation.
